That is one solution, but I would rather be able to calculate the image,
so that I know that the internal representation of the size of an agent
is reflected in the external representation.
Eventually, I'd like to modify the Boids program to simulate the growth
of young boids into grownup boids, the preying of predators on weak
boids, and the ganging up of grownup boids on predators. So I need at
least 3 sizes: young-boids, grown-boids and predator-boids, as well as
some (unmoving) obstacles in the environment.
I'll give the premade-pixmap-idea some more thought - it might be the
best solution.
