What are you using as a programmer (stk500, avrisp, etc)?
Is Aten a programmer or a usb-to-rs232 convertor? I've never heard of
that one.

>From what I've heard on the various mailing lists, not all usb-to-rs232
convertors work with uisp, but people have had success.

Would probably help to see a dump of the output with the '-v=4' option.
