IIRC SOPE also includes an implementation of both an EOF and WebObjects
API but uses a pre WO4.5 API. In fact there was a time when someone
tried to port the SOPE WebObjects API to support GDL2 but certain parts
relied on some EOQualifier API which was incompatible.
But I maybe Helge can correct me if I'm misremembering...
