Apple has promised no such thing. They have said that Address Book and
iCal will be revised to resemble the iPad (not iPhone) versions, and
one can only be thankful for that; the present UI for Mac OS X Address
Book is only so-so, and the one for iCal looks like something produced
by a summer intern.
