Just to summarize.

css-color-mode features:
- displays colors for CSS/HTML.
- allow colors edition like augmenting hue, or RGB value with
  interactive functions

rainbow-mode features:
- displays colors for CSS, HTML, LaTeX, and anything that can has
  hexadecimal or X colors (C code, .Xresources, whatever).

So for now rainbow-mode is really about displaying and not editing at
