Just so.
I think we are jagging here. We have two CI systems that people have
looked at (gitlab, and I have buildbot working). gitlab also does code
review, and git front end hosting.
Which leaves us with the three technical/social questions:
1) Are John, Eli and the other devels interested and willing to sanction
adding this form of infrastructure (even as a trial)
2) Does the FSF have resource to provide the bare metal hosting assuming
we want to self-host, even as a trial?
3) Who is prepared to do an installation?
And, I would also pose a fourth moral question:
4) In addition to gnu/linux, can we provide a windows and mac builder,
given that this would by necessity involve non-free software (i.e. the
OSes).
In answer to question 3), I'm happy to do installation for a buildbot
based solution, since I already tried it just for "fun".
