Yes it does! FYI, emacs-wiki-inline-images was set to w32 on my system.
It might be good to mention this variable in the manual. In section
7.3 "Images," we already have:
"You may need to have `auto-image-file-mode' set to `t' for this to
work." Perhaps someone might add:
"As well, `emacs-wiki-inline-images' should be non-nil. The exact
value may depend on your Emacs configuration details."
