I've changed planner-read-date to modify the calendar mode map
directly, saving it and restoring it after the date has been read. I
tested this in a released Emacs; the patch seems to work. =) Committed
address@hidden/planner--dev--1.0--patch-357. If it works for
you too, I can merge it into stable sometime soon.
