On the contrary, I think this could create a good bit of media buzz if
successful. El Reg or Slashdot might cover it.

Or would it be better to vote for a party that _does_ want to change the
electoral system, such as for example the Liberal Democrats or the Greens?
That's saying something rather than nothing.
