I'm not stripping any debugging symbols from the mingw binaries
(calling 'strip' on them is a no-op). It was previously suggested that
we need to create a PDB file, which I faintly remember is some sort of
standalone debugging format. I have no idea how that works.

I tried using cv2pdb [1] (which claims to support DWARF) to generate a PDB, but it claims lilypond.exe has no debugging information. Either strip is doing something, or no debugging information was generated in the first place.


That said,
do you actually have a stack trace that could be decoded with the
information in there?
