Follow-up Comment #11, bug #59483 (project octave): @ Mike: I got your comment and I can fix it in .inputrc. But my point is, when readline 8.1 will finally be rolled out, ALL users of Octave GUI suddenly will have to apply that fix, even on a fresh installed system.
