Follow-up Comment #21, bug #59483 (project octave): I think we should just remove the warning in the qterminal code. It's not really helpful, could happen for things other than bracketed paste escape sequences, and we may have no way to disable it if it happens other than to fix a broken termcap entry. Longer term, of course, we need to either take on real maintenance of the existing qterminal code or replace it.
