My reasoning for octave-jsonstuff was that JsonStuff's main goal was a
100% Matlab-compatible interface, and a JSON wrapper layer is a small
enough project that it was easier for me to just throw it together on my
own instead of going through the communication overhead of collaborating
with an existing project.
