Ok. I'm a GNU maintainer so you can probably guess that I agree with
rms a lot of the time.

We have our differences though.



    The only one I ever use is init parameters and 
    that not very often.

Sure. Init parameters are quite simple to add, I'll probably do them
very soon because I use them too.
