Could you run "ls -lR /usr/java > /tmp/out" and send me `out'?  Swarm
hasn't yet been tested on a plain JDK configuration on Irix (only
Kaffe).  I know that there aren't cases for that in the
autoconfiguration, so it's not suprising you'd have to make changes like that.

Shared libraries worked for me on Irix 6.5, although there are some
warnings about re-used static symbols in libgcc.

Swarm will try to use the built-in avcall unless you explicitly request
--with-ffidir in the configure.
