Hi,
I am implementing Distributed Artificial Intelligence models using the Java
Swarm in a Windows 98 machine. One of this models is an adaptation of the
problem suggested by Steels(1990). This problem involves the simulation of
the exploration of a distant planet, where a mother ship, autonomous robots
and rock samples should be modeled. Swarm is suited to solve such a problem.
The main point is that I have to give out this application in a Java Applet
environment. And thats the question: is it possible to run a Swarm
application in an Applet extension? I have designed my own graphical
interface to show the animation and the models control. But my first
problem is that the java.lang cannot find the swarm/SwarmEnvironment class.
So, I could not initialize the SwarmEnvironment as a java.lang.Object. Is
there any alternative? Won't any other Swarm class work such as SwarmImpl?
Thanks,
