Et voila, tu as fait mouche ! I was unaware that 'billard' not only
honours the $CERTI_HTTP_PROXY but also queries $http_proxy. The latter
was set, the former not, therefore I felt totally innocent :-)
Is it really useful to honour the 'universal' $http_proxy if there's a
special $CERTI_HTTP_PROXY for exclusive use with CERTI ?

I probably won't be able to get my hands onto the Linux machine before
tomorrow afternoon (we all live almost in the same timezone, don't
we ? ;-) but I was able to verify the effect on a FreeBSD-7.1 machine
(I had to add -I/usr/local/include to the "IF (LIBXML2_FOUND)"-clause
of 'CMakeLists.txt' to find /usr/local/include/iconv.h).

BTW, I also found out that the second 'billard' stalling at
"Synchronization..." only occurs when the first 'billard' is already
executing (ball moving) when the second one joins the HLA. Everything
runs nicely if I prceed in this order:
a) Start the first 'billard',
b) start the second 'billard',
c) hit ENTER in the console window of the first 'billard'.

Cheers,
        Martin.
