The problem is also solved in gcc-3.0.x

Hi,

I am not sure, but this is probably gcc problem, not swarm. Error in
function "compare string" arrived in gcc version 2.96 and above (I tried
it under Linux Mandrake 8.0). This error occur for example during
compilation of SNNS (Studgard Neural Network Simulator). Try to use gcc
version 2.95, it looks well.

Marcus,
I hate to bother you again. Swarm runs fine all errors gone.
When I try to run an application like heatbugs, after the make
I get: In function "compare strings":
warning: implicit declaration of functions trcmp
and before that:
In file included from .../typedstream.h
../Object.h
../ deftype.h
../ defobj.h
../objectbase.h
../space.h..
/Heatbug.h
I am currently working on my dissertation and appreciate your help.
Thank you !

Oliver
