Neither am I, so I'll constrain myself to adding a few more words to
your list.

For both of the above: long living and wise, perhaps?

In most of the fantasy worlds they're also gold loving, but
I'm not sure if this trait can be usefull in Wesnoth...

Drakes always seemed very cunning to me. As if they were living in their
own world, making fun of other races...
