Jeremiah, I get no midi in via fluidsynth any more. I can't follow thechanges you made, but init_midi_in() is not called which is the one thatdoes fluid or jack, only start_midi_in()
Ok. I will fix that.
which does the GIO style input from /dev/midi directly.
Using /dev/midi is the old oss way of doing things. I will test this also. I wonder if fluidsynth can create an Alsa client for input. This is what I was expecting to see.
However even when I get it called by replacing the call to start_midi_inin view.c I still get no input. No control panel either -
I left out the control panel on purpose. I thought it was to be left out. I noticed that the consequence for removing is that the user will not be able to switch between midi input and mouse/keyboard input by switching windows. They would have to select the radio button in the input menu to change input. Should I put it back in.
the one that shows the set of sharps/flats you are using.
Also... I have never used overlays except for rhythmic overlays. I have tested this and it works for midi input. I am not sure if I am testing the other type correctly. I take a bunch of notes on the staff. I then change mode to edit. Then I hit notes on the keyboard. The note changes under the cursor but the cursor dies not advance. Is this incorrect. Perhaps there is something I left out or some preference I forgot to set or something.
