Testing Emacs on Windows is scarcely a non-problem.  Anyway, if I cannot
change your mind, I hope you won't object to my uploading the patch to a
feature branch, or providing it as a series of patches in nt?  Perhaps
we shall see precisely how insignificant the excess complexity is.
