I think my recollection is wrong. The only case where it could happen is
if the buffer was modified (in which case we have to be more careful
because we can't really know what was the original position before the
command), or if the buffer has some intangible properties or other
point-motion hooks in which case many different things can happen.
That is good.
With your code, is it possible for point to be either before or after
the invisible text? If so, how do you prevent those from being two
point values which would appear at the same screen position?
