Indeed, naming is very important for strategical reasons --- the GNU
project's history shows us that.  It's very wise to give extensive
thought on that issue because its outcome can possibly determine the
future of the GNU project.  For that reason, I'm sure several GNU
hackers are anxiously waiting for your verdict.

Personally, I believe that, unless the GNU project foresees other
distributions thereof, the GNU system distribution being worked on by
the Guix team must be called "the GNU system".  Whatever be your
decision, though, I believe that naming any distribution after a
particular GNU package is a technical and strategical error we should
avoid by all means.
