This is very good news... Just out of curiosity, have you considered a
change to a MIT/BSD-style license? (I understand that this may be too
drastic for people who like the GPL, though)

No, absolutely nothing wrong. I'm using the same version. I just thought
that given the platform-independent nature of Lua, mkstemp would fit
better as posix.mkstemp(), since it comes from POSIX.
