"/root/liblo-0.22" is neither a valid libs flag or cflags flag.  Run
'pkg-config --cflags liblo' and 'pkg-config --libs liblo' to see what
it's expecting.

Something like LOSC_LIBS='-L/some/path/to/libs -llo'
LOSC_CFLAGS='-I/some/path/to/includes'
