Susanna makes some good points, and I agree that more
discussion is probably merited before we include the
Orcish Slurbow. It's not a major unit so I think we're
justified in waiting until after the imminent 0.8.12
release to possibly implement it.

The northeners are the only faction that I can think
of that lack several level 3 units. When playing an
Age of Heroes multiplayer game, not having a level 3
upgrade becomes an issue because any experience a
level 2 Orcish Crossbowman gets is a waste. 

I understand where miyo and others are coming from,
but in this case I disagree. Making the Slurbow a weak
archer is a good idea, obviouslly adding the unit is
going to increase the players use of archers, but I
still this it would improve the orcs. I also think
that a level 3 orcish slayer would be great, but I'm
probably in the minority. If people decide that adding
a 3rd level archer would hurt the orc's racial
identity, I understand, but I just feel frusterated
when I level a unit and discover that level 2 is that
maximum level. I think it's more fun when units and 3
levels of advancement.
