Hi Andreas,

I have a somewhat out of date discussion of how I use planner-mode at
http://opg1.ucsd.edu/~jklymak/PlannerMode.html

In general, I use it to keep track of what I'm working on, and random
notes. I have "notes", "tasks" and "diary" entries all set up to
key commands and to notice what buffer I am in and make a link to the
buffer. This hyperlinking is what makes planner so useful for me.

I would also reccomend reading John Wiegely's original commentary
about planner mode:
http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/PlannerModeCommentary

I've also had luck with using some of the concepts in Getting Things
Done, one of those self-help books that I'm ashamed to have bought,
but found useful.

Best of luck - its a pretty fun way to keep track of things.

Cheers, Jody
