Hi Francesco

I think you can attempt the compilation. All dependecies are in debian
(sid only), although you might prefer gchemutils-0.8.5 over the debian
current version (0.8.4-4).
If you use etch or earlier, things are much more difficult, but I'll
provide the help you'll need, just ask.
