Isn't postscript bitmap? If there is nothing worthy *now* in vector
graphic editing-printing for linux, I don't understand your objection to
gimp. If there is something worthy, great!

  If slurs are already pixelated in the output, you are screwed from the
start.

Keep in mind this is still really going to suck if you take time to
tweak all your rests and then you find out there is something
wrong with the actual music, in which case you will have to futz
coordinates all over again.

Let's assume that the score is just a *tiny bit* screwed up. I was
talking damage control, not a wholesale redo, polishing, not grinding.
A make-shift for minor tweaking, not a music processor. There are a good
number of scores out there with just one or two little things... Not
true?
