There new example in gpscsv. Here is a scatterplot:
$ gpscsv -n 100 --cvt-isotime > tpv.dat
$ gnuplot
[...]
gnuplot> set datafile separator ','
gnuplot> set key autotitle columnhead
gnuplot> plot 'tpv.dat' using 3:2 title 'fix'
Results attached.
