Is that an offer to spend a day reversioning HEAD and testing the
dependenies? Also will you merge all of the new changes to HEAD?
Anyway version numbers is just 1 consideration. I have no interest in
spending any energy on a new 16 based release that contains anything
more than what I have outlined previously or else it just becomes a
drawn out free for all. The end result is that we waste too much time
and energy, which could have been spent more effectively on preparing
HEAD.
My proposal makes a release of HEAD more likely, where as your proposal
lessens it.
