Do you mean what the meaning of ":" is in an Objective C message signature?
Methods like this:

- (void)foo: bar
{
}

or:

- foo: (int)bar
{
   return nil;
}

..are all seen by Objective C as "foo:", which is what a MessageProbe
will show.
