Hi all
We are pleased to announce that Kluwer Academic Publisher
has published the second book on modeling with the Swarm toolkit titled:

"Agent-based methods in Economic and Finance: simulation in Swarm"

 edited by
 Francesco Luna
 IMF - EU2 Eastern Division
 and
 Perrone Alessandro
 Department of Economics,
 University ``Ca'Foscari''
 Venice, Italy

With contributions by P. Terna, C. Bruun, M.D. Sapienza,
 M. Corazza,R. Boero, L. Guyas, T. Vincze, M. Tenuti, A. Cassar, D. FIaschi,
 D. Higa, M. Harrington, M. Fontana the editors and others.

From the introduction of the authors:
The book is divided into 3 parts:
 - Part I is devoted to Charlotte Bruun's provocative and inspiring
piece. She suggests a somewhat different approach.........
 - Part II of this volume proposes three different avenues followed
by the Swarm community (MAML, SWIEE and VSB)
 - Part III of the volume presents a series of original contributions
dealing with financial economics and international finance and three
more papers that range from labor economics to microeconomics and
industrial organization/game theory.
We believe that this volume will significantly enrich the endowment
of agent-based studies in Swarm further enlarging the audience
of practitioners or, better, of ``Swarmophones''.

Please refer to http://www.wkap.nl/bookcc.htm/0-7923-7419-3
for a short index.

A new web page with all the abstracts and the sources code of the models
will be available as soon as possible.
